Founded by Jodhi Meares, THE UPSIDE is rapidly becoming the go-to label for fashionable sportswear. The brand has grown leaps and bounds in the short time since its launch 4 years ago, continually demonstrating its significance as a leading luxury activewear label in Australia. Internationally, THE UPSIDE can be found in some of the finest stores and websites around the world, including Matches, Net-a-Porter, Harrods, Lane Crawford and Selfridges.
A much better shopping experience
THE UPSIDE’s Helena Gabanski-Sykes, recognized that their customers wanted to see stock availability in their stores. “We wanted to offer customers a much better shopping experience; customers see a product online and often want to go into a store nearby to get it there and then, they don’t want to wait 2-5 days to receive it in the post.
There is nothing more disappointing than seeing a product you like online, going into a store only to find out it’s sold out; and being unable to get to another store before it closes.”
Quick to implement and doesn’t require any internal IT resources
THE UPSIDE looked at a number of solutions but they were all either cost-prohibitive, didn’t give customers a good experience and/or didn’t provide the business with the additional benefits that are standard in the stockinstore platform. Helena said “After doing extensive research, we chose stockinstore because it is was quick to implement, didn’t require any internal IT resources and the reporting suite gives our team incredible insights into customer demand for products in our stores and stockists.”
She goes on to say “The team at stockinstore are super proactive, it’s incredibly easy to set up, the creative team are really sensitive to the brand aesthetic, they were also able to educate as they hand-held us through the process.”
Andrew Maver, CEO of stockinstore says “We’re excited that another home grown success story expanding locally and on the global stage, chose our find in store solution. We love working with retailers who are looking at innovative ways to enhance their customers experience.”
