So when they were looking to drive more customers instore and enhance the online shopping experience, they turned to stockinstore. Toyworld Australia embarked on their omnichannel transformation journey in 2020 with Find in Store, adding Click & Collect in 2021. As Toyworld Australia’s online sales continued to grow, they were faced with a significant challenge. All online orders were dispatched from a single store in Queensland which was running out of space and struggling to keep up with the inventory needed to sustain their growth.
The team considered three options:

The only solution that aligned with their goals was option three, a solution that didn’t require any additional stock or staff investment and would instead create a shared goal of growing their online business.

Toyworld Australia’s customers and stores have been thrilled with the results of stockinstore’s omni channel initiatives, making the addition of Ship from Store a no-brainer.

With a clear strategy in place, the goal was to carefully hand-pick stores who shared the vision of elevating the brand through their Member Fulfilment initiative and could provide deeper online stock levels. This led to skyrocketing sales during high-traffic promotional periods.

To make this a reality, stockinstore teamed up with Shopify Plus and Starshipit, a shipping aggregator. This enabled store owners to choose their preferred couriers, while still maintaining head office oversight, and shipping orders using the best possible last mile provider in their area. This powerhouse combination replaced multiple apps that couldn’t handle the complex needs of Toyworld Australia’s store fulfilment program.
